Now, a little over a full day into StartUp weekend Columbus my team has really come together and have focused in with laser pin point concentration on a company and our first app to develop.
Two days ago I only knew a couple of the people on our 12 person team and now I am part of a collection of talents that cover everything from design, marketing, business, programming, legal and who knows what other talents we have that haven’t quit been needed.
So here is a summary of whats going on and how we are doing.
Our company name is GiggleSeed and is a software development company that is focusing on build iPhone and iPod Touch applications. The apps are intended to be fun and viral in nature with a quirkiness that we believe will appeal to the masses that love their Apple gadgets.
Out first app is called iToot and is a spin off the old whoopie cushion prank. The different of course being that it runs on your iPhone or iPod Touch. We are developing the application, the website for information on GiggleSeed and our other products, creating Press Releases, viral commercials and putting together some other marketing and social networking events to get word out when we go live all simultaneously so that at the end of the weekend we can have a successful launch.
