The regular College football season has been over for almost 2 months now. But until now you really don’t realize that the season has ended. There are the holidays that start about a week afterwards, plus the pro ball season is in full swing so you don’t miss it too much. Of course right after Christmas the bowl games start up and once again it feels like football season is back. But just as quickly as it came it ended. The national championship game has been over for almost 2 weeks now and its the last week of the NFL playoffs. So today is really the first Saturday that I sit here wishing there was a football game on.
On a positive note, tomorrow there are 2 games on. The final 4 teams in the playoffs before the Super Bowl kickoff. The undefeated New England Patriots host San Diego Chargers 3:30 eastern, then at around 6:30 eastern the Green Bay Packers host New York Giants (and its gonna be cold).
After that the Super Bowl is set for February 3, 2008 in Arizona. I either need to plan a party or find one to go to.
Then on February 9th we go right into NASCAR season which I only started watching regularly since its broadcast went High def. Its unbelievable to watch in wide screen high def with surround sound.
